KIDS

TEENS

THURSDAYS • 3:45PM KIDS [30 MINS] • 4:30PM TEENS [60 MINS]

  • We are currently taking expression of interest for a weekly 30 minute class, Thursdays 3:45pm.

Kids yoga is an opportunity for children to enjoy a movement based activity with zero competition!

Through story, games and a mix of structured and free form movement activities (plus some time to just rest and be), yoga encourages a child’s innate curiosity to understand their own body and mind in helping them better manage their own energy and emotions.

  • This class is an opportunity for teens to connect and understand their body and mind better through movement, breath, stillness and rest.

Yoga helps teens to improve focus, regulate emotions and energy levels, improve posture, balance and coordination. Yoga can help anxious and busy minds, allowing better sleep and more confidence.

This is a welcoming class for teens to come on their own or with a friend. No need for any specific skills or experience, this is a no judgement, freedom to choose your participation level zone!!

  • Our teen yoga classes run as a term booking. We are are now enrollinhg for term 4. Please contact us if you would like to enrol in a casual class or join part way through the term.

MEET OUR KIDS & TEEN TEACHER

  • Kathy has been teaching yoga to children, teens and adults since 2012.  Her classes include a combination of functional movement, while encouraging a stronger sense of connection to each person’s unique experience of living in their body and realising the joy we can experience from non judgemental movement practices.

Kathy is a lifelong learner and has completed many additional courses since her first yoga teacher training, including courses in yoga for children, teens, seniors and yoga for trauma and mental health. She is currently studying Exercise Science through Charles Sturt University.
