SLOW FLOW YOGA • SLOW FLOW TO RESTORATIVE

  • Searching for calmness and balance, and driven by curiosity, Sasha’s journey into the discovery and practice of yoga began in 2012.

With her ever-growing love and desire to know more about Yoga philosophy, and its teachings, Sasha immersed herself in Ray of Light Foundational Yoga Teacher Training with Rachel Nokes 2017. She then continued her Advanced Studies with Ray of Light Yoga in 2019.  Sasha has also completed further studies with Sarah Ball Yoga for Trauma, Anxiety, and Depression in 2018.

Sasha teaches Viniyoga/Vinyasa styles, providing guidance in awareness and connection of movement, within the flow of your breath - blending movement, pranayama and meditation - she also loves sharing a little yoga philosophy with students!

Providing a safe and supportive environment, Sasha enjoys offering a range of options and adaptations to make yoga accessible for everyone and everybody.

RESTORATIVE YOGA

  • Kate is an Easty local and has been teaching out of her home studio for many years, and now brings her “restorative with an edge” practice to Gather, giving students a chance to slow down, rest and open their bodies.

Kate’s personal practice initially focused on the physical benefits of yoga - predominantly stretching and movement after running or gym sessions. It wasn’t until after 20 years in the NSW Police, and a diagnosis of Post Traumatic Stress Injury, did Kate’s practice go deeper, supporting mental health and trauma recovery.

In 2018 she completed Foundational Teacher Training with Ray of Light Yoga in Bulli - along with her co-teacher (and service dog), Gidget!  In 2023 they completed Restorative Yoga Teacher Training with Sukha Mukha Yoga in Bondi, followed by an IRest Meditation certification.

SLOW FLOW

  • Cass is known for her calm, grounding presence and deeply supportive approach to movement.

Originally from Canberra, she completed her 200-hour Yoga Teacher Training with Wild Self Yoga in Crescent Head and has since taught across a range of studio and community settings. Her teaching is shaped by a genuine desire to create spaces where students feel comfortable, connected and at ease.

Cass’s classes focus on balance, spinal health and mindful, intentional movement. With an emphasis on accessibility, she offers thoughtful variations to meet each student where they are, allowing for a practice that feels both supportive and sustainable.

Her approach is gentle yet purposeful—rather than focusing on advanced postures, Cass prioritises helping students build strength, stability and connection within their own bodies.

Whether guiding a slow flow or a more nurturing, restorative style class, Cass creates an environment that encourages you to slow down, regulate the nervous system and reconnect. Her teaching is grounded in presence over perfection, inviting students to move in a way that feels honest, nourishing and aligned with everyday life.
