Illawarra’s beloved Rachel Nokes is returning to Wollongong for an incredible weekend of inspired teachings! Practice bringing nourishment to the pañca prāna vayu. Rachel will guide three workshops, each with an enlivening effect for these special energetic areas and their physiological systems. During each workshop you'll experience full spectrum practices including āsana, prānāyāma, mudrā and chanting. We will drink the deep nourishment of our practice replenishing all the systems in the energetic layer of our being.
Saturday 16th November
11am - 1pm -The great eliminators Agni & Apāna vāyu
With a focus on exhalation and the eliminating forces of downward energy we engage in the symbolism of breath as an offering to cleanse and release
2pm - 4pm - Energetic nourishment Prāna & Samāna vāyu
With a focus on potentiating our inhalation and enlivening our energy system. We intend to refine our ability to receive, absorb and assimilate nutrients and life
Sunday 17th November
9am - 11am - The great upward and circulating forces Udāna & vyāna vāyu
With a focus on expansion and circulation we embrace the qualities of movement and upliftment from the heart as lifeforce spirals from the centre and outward into the world
About Rachel Nokes
Rachel shares a nurturing breath centric yoga practice that encourages a uniting of the breath and movement along with awareness. Rachel believes that it's this yoking that supports our remembrance of our true nature.. Rachels classes have a flavour of simplicity and devotion, with the intention to lead you into your own heart and the great teacher that resides there. Rachel is a yoga teacher and therapist who works 1;1 with folks looking to engage in yoga as a healing modality. She also leads trainings, retreats and adventures to India, Bali and at her home on the South Coast NSW.
Cost $150 for Saturday and Sunday (sessions can not be booked separately).
Please bring a pen and notepad. It is a requirement that you can comfortably get on and off the ground in a movement practice. Chairs can be available for sitting if required.
